10/8 Got our daughters passport
10/20 Got our son's adoption paperwork
11/5 Received our translations and sent our I600's
11/10 Got an appointment for our first embassy appointment
11/12 Received our son's passport
11/18 First embassy appointment
11/20 talked to NBC adoptions to check on status of I600- told it could be 3-5 weeks before it was assigned to an agent
We have been told after we get our I600 approval it will be about 3-4 weeks for the second appointment and then 3-4 weeks for visas. Then they can travel about 2 weeks later. So at this point once we got our first referral until they come home is going to be about 6-7 months. We started this whole process back in the beginning of March and it looks like it will be Feb or so when they come home. So just about a year.
As for Jordan's army career....we are moving to EL Paso, TX in March. We got to visit and it looks like the town is pretty nice. It is a LONG ways from family which we are not happy about. But we are just taking things as they come! I'm not too thrilled with moving again but this time should be for good (at least for a few years!)
