Got a phone call today. First one since end of February so it was a big surprise! It as so good to actually hear from Jordan. He said things are going well for the most part. He did have to see the medic. I guess his left foot was really swollen and he could barely walk. They finally made him go get it looked at. He might have to have xrays but for now they gave him meds and shots or something. He can't do PT for the next 6 days which he was pretty upset about (I wouldn't be...lol!) But he said they have to recheck him then. Prayers would be greatly appreciated! He didn't really have any details but he said the medication had helped the pain and so hopefully it clears itself up. They will also be getting him some heel inserts to see if that helps.
Wednesday is the half way mark! We're getting there! Recently time has been flying past so quickly. But it is hard to think it will still be another month and a half or so. But he was really upbeat and sounded really good. It is hard to tell from letters sometimes so it was good to actually hear him say he was having fun! He also got the role of Team Leader which he as pretty excited about. I guess it isn't very high “up the food chain” but it gives him some responsibilities which he liked. He also said my letters are getting there in about 4 days now...so that is an improvement! He thinks they might start getting weekly phone calls now which would be great! They are only 15 minutes long but anything is better than nothing! It would be nice to be able to count on talking once a week or so. Plus we are just now getting to “communicate” via the mail so at least I know he is hearing stuff from home and I can hear what he is doing. I have four letters that just came this weekend that I will have to put more updates on later. This is it for now. Lorelei is in the bath and needs to get ready for bed. We had Christine's shower today which was a lot of fun! Then this weekend we are off to Peoria for a home school conference. March has just flown by! Great to have the nice weather! Hopefully it comes back soon!!

I'm so glad he finally got to call you! That's really encouraging. I know that he had to be quite a bit of pain to go see the medic, he's pretty strong headed when it comes to things like that. We'll be praying for a complete recovery.
