Here is what they said EST is: EST: engagement skills trainer, a computer-based training system that trains Soldiers on marksmanship skills, with automated feedback.
I think this is similar to what Jordan did at the Ft Benning Museum. It was like an indoor range with computer simulated guns. So the gun handled like a real gun (with kick and stuff) but was used with a computer system. Looks like that is what he was doing today.
B Co was in EST today; B Co heads back out tomorrow to the field fire practice range before starting qualification later this week... 4pm March 17th, 2010
