Picture!

It didn't scan well but this is the picture I just got from Jordan. Funny side note: the hat is photo shopped in! Not sure why they didn't wait until they had photos but well...that's the army! He looks so serious (but then again he does in most pictures!) Lorelei was so excited to see her "army daddy"! We got to talk today too! He is doing well. This is is last real week of training. They are doing Victory Forge or something. Another camp out. He said the heat is killing them but otherwise things are going well. He is looking forward to graduation (as are we!). He is making friends with the others guys going to OCS. They are really looking forward to that. He will get his orders in about two weeks, so that will tell us for sure that he is going and when. He is trying to get his PT score up so he goes and works out in the mornings. Overall he is really enjoying it! I think it is better now since they are treated more as soldiers and less as "cattle". Also, I guess I can send food now, not for him but for his DS's. I will address it to him, but I guess they "confiscate" it! It is a nice way to thanks to the people who are helping to train these guys and who have to put up with a lot! They work crazy hours and they don't get to leave after 10 weeks. For everyone else, this part ends, for them it just starts again!
